City Councilors Expected to Vote on Bangor School Budget

Bangor city councilors are expected to vote Monday night on an amended school budget – one that cuts out 130-thousand dollars from the original proposal. The committee approved the additional cuts last week. With the new $41.6 million budget, 10 positions will be lost – five with retirements and five with layoffs. Some of the athletic money in the school department was also eliminated.Monday night’s city council meeting is set for 7:30 p.m.
