Update: Judge Denies Bangor Murderer’s Request for New Trial 

A judge in Bangor has denied a convicted murder’s request for a new trial. 36-year-old Colin Koehler was back in court Wednesday. He was found guilty of stabbing 19-year-old Holly Boutilier to death on the Bangor waterfront in 2009.Koehler’s attorney brought a witness to the stand who admitted to giving wrong information in previous testimonies.A jury convicted koehler in October.He faces 25 years to life in prison and was originally scheduled to be sentenced Wednesday. That was pushed back for the judge to consider the motion for a new trial.
