Jurors Continue to Deliberate in Trial of Former Music Teacher 

The fate of a former Searsport music teacher accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl is in the hands of a jury.Jurors began deliberating in the case of 41-year-old William Wiley just before noon Wednesday. Around 6 o’clock Wednesday night jurors sent a note to the judge saying they have reached a verdict on the 10 counts of unlawful sexual contact against Wiley, but cannot come to an agreement on the one count of gross sexual assault.Wiley is facing charges stemming from a 2004 alleged sexual assault of a young girl who was a student of his. Jurors will not release any of the verdicts until they have made a decision on all 11 charges.
