Maine Lawmakers Approve Supplemental Budget 

Maine lawmakers approved a $65 million supplemental budget to address spending in the year that ends June 30th, sending the bill to Governor LePage for his signature.The budged received strong bipartisan support after receiving unanimous support from the appropriations committee.The majority of the $65 million gap comes from overruns in the Department of Health and Human services.A two-year budget for the two years starting July 1st is still being deliberated.
