Pilot Identified in Biddeford Plane Crash 

The Maine State Medical Examiner’s Office released the name of the pilot killed in Sunday’s plane crash in Biddeford.The pilot was Edward L’Hommedieu, 71. L’Hommedieu was the only person killed when the twin-engine Cessna he was flying crashed into a home at 235 Granite Street Extension.The couple who lives in the home had left about an hour before the crash. Kim and Steve Myers said they are usually home on a Sunday night but had been invited over to a relative’s house for dinner. Their home was destroyed.The cause of L’Hommedieu’s death is not clear yet.
