Old Town Man Arrested in Connection with Three Burglaries

A man from Old Town is behind bars in connection with three burglaries at two local businesses and a home. 22-year-old Brian Corvino is charged with one count of burglary. Police say he admitted to stealing nearly 300 glass and metal pipes from the Captain’s Joint earlier this month, worth about $4,000. Police arrested Corvino Saturday night after obtaining a search warrant for his home. Last month, Jason’s Pizza on Main Street and a home on Front Street were also broken into. Police say between the two places, about $3,700 worth of electronics, a computer and cash were stolen. Corvino is charged with theft, criminal mischief and receiving stolen property in those cases. Police say most of the stolen items have been recovered. Corvino made his first court appearance Monday. His bail was set at $750.Police say the investigation is on-going and other suspects could be charged.
