Officials Identify Occupants Involved in Plane Crash 

The investigation into a deadly plane crash in Aroostook County continues.The plane went down with two people on board near the Maine-Quebec border Monday.Maine State Police have identified the pilot as 31-year-old Ryan Isaac and the passenger as 53-year-old Paul Oberman. Both men were from Toronto.Isaac suffered a broken arm and was taken to a Quebec hospital. Oberman was killed in the crash.A family friend says Paul Oberman was the president of a real estate company in Toronto.Issac reportedly radioed for help after the plane began icing up and was looking for a place to land when he lost contact with officials.The crash site is in a remote location near Depot Lake. Rescuers had to use snowmobile and snow shoes to reach the wreckage today, which had been covered with two feet of snow from Monday’s storm.Authorities say the plane left Halifax, Nova Scotia early Monday on a return trip to Quebec.The cause of the crash will be investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board.
