Slippery road conditions have caused a number of accidents in the Waterville area. State police responded to this rollover on the northbound side of I-95 around 4:00 Monday afternoon.Troopers say icy roads on the interstate caused two cars to collide and one rolled over onto the shoulder. One of the drivers here sustained minor injuries. They’re urging folks to take it easy if you have to be out on the roads. “It’s very, very slippery. It’s hard to even stand up let alone drive across,” says Sgt. Vicki Gardner of the Maine State Police. “Slow down if they can stay home and get off the roads the should probably do so.”State police also responded to three other accidents on I-95 within 10 miles of this one. There were also numerous other accidents in the waterville-winslow area between 4:00 and 6:00.
