Maine Men’s Hockey Ends Regular Season with 4-4 Tie

The Maine men’s hockey team wrapping up the regular season tonight at UMass. The Black Bears already locked into the fifth seed in Hockey East so they will be on the road next weekend. Maine trying to go into the playoffs with a seven game winning streak.Early on it looked like that would happen. Maine up 3-0 after one. But UMass scored four straight goals to take a lead with just over two minutes to play. Maine responded and Robby Dee scored the game-tying goal. Maine ends the regular season with a 4-4 tie at UMass. The Black Bears will play at Merrimack in the Hockey East quarterfinals next weekend.
