Governor LePage Joins Colorectal Fight 

Colorectal cancer is the third leading cause of new cancer cases and deaths for both men and women in Maine. Nearly 800 Mainers were diagnosed with the disease in 2010, and 270 people died from it.Thursday morning Governor Paul LePage will join the fight to save lives from colorectal cancer.Turning Maine Blue is an initiative of the Maine Colorectal Cancer Control Program, with an aim to increase awareness of colorectal cancer and the importance of screening. The program will be launched at 11 Thursday morning.
