Union Workers Plan Rally in Augusta 

Unionized state workers are reportedly turning out in Augusta later on Wednesday to speak out against Governor Paul LePage’s proposed two-year budget.The Maine State Employees Association has announced the launch of its two-day show of force at the State House, where the proposed $6,100,000,000 budget package is being reviewed.The union is encouraging members to pack public hearings on Wednesday and Thursday.They say they are also planning a noon time rally outside the State House on Thursday.
