New Technology at PVH Improves Patient Safety

Upgrades have been made at Penobscot Valley Hospital to improve patient safety.PVH in Lincoln just installed their first set of state of the art hospital beds. And these beds have all the bells and whistles…from an ultra low bed height to an alert system that allows nurses to responded quickly if a patient is getting out of bed.But beds aren’t the only new technology the hospital now has on hand. They’ve also improved their medication tracking and dispensing systems to ensure patients get the correct medications. The hospital is hoping to get more donations to buy more beds through their Adopt-A-Bed program. If you’d like to donate, you can visit their website, for more information.
