Sabbattus Man Charged with Attempted Murder 

A Sabbattus man is in jail after police say he stabbed his girlfriend and a good samaritan who came to her aid.30-year-old Leein Hinkley is charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault.Authorities say Hinkley and his girlfriend argued in a car in Lisbon Sunday afternoon.She told police Hinkley stabbed her when she pulled into the driveway of a house.Police say she told them Hinkley then stabbed the homeowner who came to her aid.Police say Hinkley drove off with a 13-month-old baby in the car and was arrested at his parents’ home Sunday night.We’re told the woman is hospitalized with multiple stab wounds. The homeowner and the baby are ok.
