Jury Selection Begins in Trial that Triggered Maine’s First Amber Alert 

Jury selection has begun in the trial of a man who triggered Maine’s first ever Amber alert.39-year-old Gary Traynham is accused of breaking into the Sanford home of his ex-girlfriend, sexually assaulting her then running off with their 2-year-old daughter.That triggered a 30-hour manhunt in three states in November 2009.Traynham and the girl were found in New Hampshire by a hunter.Jury selection will continue in the courthouse in Alfred tomorrow.
