Ship Being Built at Bath Iron Works will Increase Navy Demand 

The chief of U.S. Naval Operations says Navy demand will be great for a class of ship being built at Bath Iron Works.Admiral Gary Rougead visited the shipyard on Wednesday at the invitation of Senator Susan Collins. Bath is slated to build a DDG-51 Destroyer under the recently restarted Arleigh-Burke destroyer program. Roughead says the Navy has greatest need for that ship.Bath has also been picked to build two Zumwalt class destroyers.
