Coffee House Raises Money to Keep Mainers Warm 

A monthly evening of entertainment in Penobscot has raised hundreds of dollars in the last year to help keep Mainers warm in the winter.Penobscot’s Music Buffet Coffee House is marking its first anniversary on Friday, February 18th.Organizers say about 50 people attend each month and since it’s started, they’ve collected $2,000 for the local Community Fuel Assistance Fund.The coffee house is in the annex of Methodist Church in Penbscot and offers open mic time, plus a featured artist.
