Colby Professor Resignes Over Allegations 

A tenured economics professor at Colby College in Waterville has resigned amid allegations he secretly recorded video of a female student in a bathroom while on a school trip to China.Philip Brown has not been charged with a crime, but the State Police Computer Crimes Unit is investigating.In January, Colby College President William Adams told students and staff that Brown had resigned after the college indicated it was prepared to fire him over a quote “violation of student privacy.”A court affidavit says on January 22nd, two students on the China trip found computer images of a partially-clothed female student.Brown later told college officials the students’ accusations were true.
