Rachel’s Challenge

Rachel’s Challenge has come to the Caravel Middle School in Carmel. The goal is to make the world a kinder, gentler place.Rachel Scott was one of the students killed at Columbine High School.Just weeks before her death, she wrote an essay about what the world would be like with more random acts of kindness. So her family created a school program that presents five positive challenges to children everywhere.Students at Caravel Middle School have taken up the challenge.”The goal of Rachel’s Challenge is to really create a chain reaction of kindness and compassion and empathy in the school community. She had proven that one person can make a change and can make a difference and have an impact on many people’s lives.”Hermon Middle School has teamed up them to take on this challenge too. There will be a public presentation tuesday, February 8th at 6:30 at Hermon High School. Everyone’s invited and encouraged to attend.
