Second finalist Visits the University of Maine

Another finalist for the top job at the University of Maine is visiting campus. Donald Farish, president of Rowan University in New Jersey, is visiting the Orono campus Thursday and Friday to meet with students, faculty, staff and University of Maine System Chancellor Richard Pattenaude. Farish is the second finalist to visit. James Page, CEO of James W. Sewall Co., of Old Town, paid a visit in January. Daniel Julius, vice president for academic affairs at the University of Alaska System of Higher Education, is scheduled to come February 8th and 9th. Paul Ferguson, Southern Illinois University vice president for academic affairs, is visiting Feb. 16 and 17.Current UMaine President Robert Kennedy is stepping down in June. (AP)
