Maine Governor is Pleased by Florida Judge’s Decision on Health Care 

Governor LePage says he’s pleased with a Florida judge’s ruling that federal health care overhaul is unconstitutional.Maine is among the 25 states that signed onto to the federal challenge.On Monday, the judge ruled unconstitutional the requirement for most Americans to buy health insurance by 2014 or face penalties, as well as the section of the act that withholds medicare funds from states that refuse to take part. Governor LePage says Maine needs comprehensive reform to lower job-killing health care costs, not more expensive mandates.Meanwhile, Representative Chellie Pingree expressed disappointment with the ruling.She says her constituents tell her that congress didn’t go far enough.
