New Law Proposed for People with One Arm 

A Maine Lawmaker wants to make it legal for people with one arm to carry switchblades.State Representative Sheryl Briggs of Mexico says it would bring Maine into compliance with a federal law that lets individuals with one arm have the spring-assisted folding knives with blades of three inches or less.Currently in Maine it’s a misdemeanor to have a switchblade.The bill is before the legislature’s Committee on Criminal Justice and Public Safety.A public hearing on it is set for February 11th.
