High school basketball teams are now entering the final five games of the regular season. For the teams at the top of the standings, they will need to keep winning if they want those high seeds. Tonight, Hampden Academy hosted Erskine Academy in both boys and girls hoops. In the girls game, Hampden’s Sarah Lamberton notched 14 points as the Broncos won 46-26.On the sidelines, the Hampden cheerleaders finished second in KVAC’s. They have regionals Saturday in Augusta.In the boys game, Erskine coming out on fire early on.The Eagles hit four three pointers in the first half. They also got some great scoring from Tom Grady.
