Skier Dies at Acadia National Park 

A 52-year-old man has died while cross country skiing in Acadia National Park.Park officials say Duncan Rosborough of Mount Desert was found shortly before 7 am Sunday morning on the park’s Carriage Road System.They say he was an experienced skier and apparently died of natural causes.Park Superintendent, Sheridan Steele said Rosborough left home about 10 pm Saturday night to ski the Eagle Lake Loop.When he hadn’t returned home by midnight, his family became concerned and searched the park for several hours.Steele says the family notified police around 3:30 Sunday morning, setting off a search on snowmobiles, skis and snowshoes by park rangers and volunteers.(AP)
