Waterville College Plans to Expand 

Maine’s Thomas College has plans to get a lot larger.The liberal arts school has announced a plan to add a dozen new buildings, nearly doubling the size of its Waterville campus.Thomas currently has about 700 full-time students.The new buildings would include five residence halls and a new library.Designers of the master plan say it’s subject to change and could take many years to complete. But the first steps have been taken, including renovations to the school’s welcome center and classrooms in the main academic building.
