UMaine Presidency Search Yields 4 Candidates 

The University of Maine has four finalists in the search for a new president of the Orono campus.The Chancellor of the UMaine system identified the candidates as Donald Farish of New Jersey, who’s been President of Rowan University since 1998.Paul Ferguson of Illinois currently works as Provost and Vice Chancellor at Southern Illinois University.Daniel Julius of Alaska is Vice-President of Academic Affairs at University of Alaska.And a local candidate, James Page of Old Town, served as CEO, President, and Senior Vice-President of James Sewall Company in Old Town.The successful candidate will assume the president’s position in June when current president, Robert Kennedy, steps down.
