Brewer to Talk About Reuse of Four Schools

City leaders in Brewer want to hear ideas from the public on what to do with four schools that will soon close. Classes in those buildings are set to be moved to the new Brewer Community School in the fall. The city’s school reuse committee is holding two public meetings this week. Tomorrow night’s meeting will focus on redevelopment of the Washington and Capri Street schools. It starts a 6 p.m. at the Washington Street School. A meeting Thursday night will address the future of Brewer Middle and State Street schools.It also starts at 6 p.m. at the Brewer Middle School.
