FairPoint Reorganization Approved 

FairPoint Communications has gotten a federal bankruptcy court judge to agree with its reorganization plan three weeks after getting the okay from regulators in Vermont.The company says this gives them the green light to emerge from bankruptcy by the end of the month.The Charlotte, North Carolina based company ran into problems when it bought the landline telephone networks from Verizon in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont in early 2008. Service quality, billing problems, and customer flight led to bankruptcy in October of 2009.
