(AP) Gov. Paul LePage has announced three moreCabinet nominees who are all promising to make Maine more business-friendly. The governor on Friday said Darryl Brown, a former legislatorand head of a land development firm, will be nominated as commissioner of the Department of Environmental Protection. The Department of Marine Resources would be headed by Norman Olsen, a former commercial fisherman who’s also experienced as a foreign diplomat. Heading the Department of Economic and Community Development would be Philip Congdon, an engineer who holds numerous U.S. patents and extensive research and development background in business. The three will face legislative committee reviews and Senate confirmation votes. LePage has now announced his nominees to be commissioners for seven of the 15 state departments.
