Authorities Ruled Justified in OOB Shooting 

Maine’s attorney general says federal authorities were justified in shooting and killing an Outlaws Motorcycle Club member last summer.Thomas Mayne, 58, was shot in June when agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives tried to arrest him at his home in Old Orchard Beach. He was one of twenty-seven outlaws members from many states charged with crimes ranging from attempted murder to racketeering.The AG’s office says the four officers who fired at Mayne acted in self-defense and will not face charges. The agents fired twenty rounds, Mayne was hit by at least seven.The AG says Mayne fired six shots.
