Patients at Eastern Maine Medical Center were treated to Christmas music Saturday morning.Carolers sang traditional Christmas songs at the hospital in Bangor. It’s a tradition that was started by Dr. Joan Pelligrini. Her daughters Amelia and Olivia joined in playing violin. They say their favorite part about spreading christmas cheer is seeing the smiles on people’s faces.”I like it how all the nurses and patients they just look so happy after we leave and everything because they heard the music,” Olivia said. The family says they hope to continue this tradition in the years to come.
