Video Used in Fatal Shooting Investigation is Online 

The Maine Attorney General’s Office has released cell phone video footage taken by a man who claimed he saw James Popkowski get shot by law enforcement officers this past July.Four video clips on you tube are posted online, but there’s very little you can see. The video was used in the investigation that ultimately cleared two officers of any wrong-doing.37-year old Popkowki was a retired marine shot by a Togus officer and game warden on the grounds of the Togus VA Medical Center in Augusta July eighth.Paul Stevens was standing in a driveway across the street from the shooting and recorded video on his cell phone. Stevens alleged that police shot Popkowski without reason.Popkowski was apparently unhappy about the medical treatment he was receiving from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.Below you’ll find links to the video.
