Lincoln to Hold Public Hearing on Garage Project

Lincoln town councilors will soon hear what the community has to say about a plan for a new public works garage. Councilors voted last night to hold a public hearing on the project January 10th. They rejected the plan last fall when members of the public protested the price of a new garage. The initial cost started at $2.4 million. The revised proposal is now down to $1.15 million. Town manager Lisa Gould says the hearing will give the residents a chance to say whether the town should put the garage project to a public vote.
