LePage Plans Inauguration

Maine Republicans are elated about their first blaine house victory in two decades, but they won’t celebrate by dancing the night away.In a nod to the weak economy, Republican governor elect Paul LePage is opting against a gala inaugural ball next month. Instead, there’s going to be a reception with a receiving line for Paul and his wife Ann at the Augusta Civic Center. The invitation-only reception follows a January fifth ceremony in which LePage will be sworn into office before a joint session of the Maine Legislature.
