Beals Woman Arrested in Connection with Eastbrook Shooting 

A Beals woman has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of her boyfriend, Nicholas Richards, earlier this week in Eastbrook.Twenty-three-year-old Ashley Crowley has been charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of burglary.Authorities say the arrest follows an investigation into the shooting outside a house in Eastbook.Police say Richards was shot by the homeowner after Crowley came to the door to report a car crash nearby and asked the homeowner to come outside.Crowley is charged with robbery in connection with that incident.Crowley also faces a robbery and burglary charge in connection with two home invasions earlier this month.Authorities say Richards also participated in those crimes.The shooting death of Richards is still under investigation by State Police.
