Former Arizona Sheriff to Speak in Old Town 

A sheriff from out west will roll into town in Old Town to talk about the role of sheriffs in america. Former Arizona sheriff Richard Mack has served nearly 20 years in law enforcement.He’s a defender of gun rights and in 1994 he challenged the constitutionality of the Brady Bill.Mack will be speaking to law enforcement officers Saturday afternoon at the Old Town Elks Lodge.Following that, he’ll host a seminar from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. that night that’s open to the public.The organization “We the People” is hosting the visit and is encouraging $10 donations to cover the cost.
