Maine Soldier Laid to Rest 

The body of a Maine soldier killed in Afghanistan was laid to rest Saturday.The funeral service for 24-year-old Private First Class Buddy McLain was held at Mountain Valley High School in Rumford, where he graduated.McLain was a Calvary Scout with the 101st Airborne Division.He was one of six soldiers killed by an Afghan police officer they were training.McLain received full military honors.He leaves behind a wife and one-year-old son.Governor Baldacci ordered flags to be flown at half-staff Saturday in his honor.
