Maine’s Congressional Delegation Split on Tax Compromise

Maine’s congressional delegation is split along party lines on the tax compromise the President negotiated with Republicans. Republican Senators Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe support extending the Bush-era tax relief laws for all Americans for two more years.Democratic representative Mike Michaud says he’s all for keeping the tax cut for those earning 250-thousand dollars or less but doesn’t agree that the wealthiest Americans should be included.Democratic representative Chellie Pingree is against the deal.
