Domestic Violence Awareness Walk 

There’s a walk being held in Rockland Friday evening, hoping to bring awareness to domestic violence.Organizers say the November death of Katrina Windred inspired the event.State police say Windred was killed by a former boyfriend.Friday’s walk starts at the ferry terminal in Rockland and ends at Harbor Park.Everyone is invited to attend the event which runs from 6 to 8 that evening.A memorical service for Katrina Windred will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the First Unitarian Church in Rockland.
