UMaine mens basketball playing three games in five days. So far it hasn’t gone so well and the last one may be the toughest challange.Not much of a crowd on Monday night. Black Bear coach Ted Woodward trying to get this team going that had such high preseason expectations.Maine started out well against Delaware State. Murphy Burnatowski with the follow up slam and in the first half and Maine had a 9 point lead.The 2nd half was a different story. A one point game at the half quickly turned into a 15 point hole for Maine. Oliver Marques with the flip shot in the lane, then later it was Jay Threatt with the short pullup.Maine could never get back in it.They cut it to 10 but ended up losing by 19, 75-56.Maine is now 2-5 on the season and play at UMass on Wednesday.
