New Airline Comes to Augusta State Airport 

Those who take to the air have a new way to fly out of Augusta.Cape Air is the newest airline at the Augusta State Airport.They’re offering one way fares to Boston as low as 49 bucks. Airport Manager John Guimond says the company will offer travelers the service they’ve been looking for: affordable fares and a convenient schedule.Cape Air’s CEO says coming to Augusta was the right choice for them.In Augusta, Cape Air will offer three flights, seven days a week during the winter and four a day in the summer.Cape Air employs 850 people and flies more than 850 thousand passengers each year.
