Relay for Life Looking for Volunteers

A yearly race to fight cancer is looking for volunteers to help plan the event. Every May hundreds of cancers survivors and their supporters walk the track at Old Town High School to raise money for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. Organizers say they need committee members to get ready for this year’s race. They’re looking for people to plan everything from the logistics of the race to the entertainment to the ceremonies. If you’re interested in helping out, you can contact Mike Hart, the Community Executive for Development. His number is 989-0332. Or you can e-mail him at [email protected]
