Update: Trenton Elderly Couple Deaths Ruled Drowning 

The state medical examiner has ruled drowning caused the death of an elderly couple from Trenton found submerged in their vehicle yesterday. The manner of death has been ruled undetermined an authorities still aren’t sure how their vehicle wound up in the water.The couple was discovered yesterday inside a car submerged in the waters at the end of the Seal Cove boat ramp in Tremont.The Maine Marine Patrol has identified the victims as 92-year-old Lewis Lawton and his 86-year-old wife, Inez, of Seal Cove.A carpenter on his way to do some work near the Seal Cove boat landing spotted the car about 75-feet out in the cove.
