Governor elect Paul LePage announced today the formation a new transition advisory team. Maine’s new Governor calls the advisory team bipartisan and says it consists of around 35 members.The advisory team will provide input into policy proposals and help to identify good candidates for some key positions in the LePage administration.Governor elect LePage says the team is a good representation of Maine’s people. “Maine is people before politics and so is our team,” says LePage. “My transition and advisory team will provide input into the policy proposals and we will advance in the months to come. Their collective expertise and background will be important in helping us turn the theme of my campaign into comprehensive policy reform.”LePage also thanked governor baldacci for his cooperation in an orderly transition.
