Some Bangor Hydro customers will lose their electricity Tuesday while crews do maintenance work and upgrade the system. Power will be turned off from midnight to 4 a.m. for folks who live on the north side of Main Street in Bangor. That includes the Freese’s Assisted Living facility and the Greyhound bus terminal among other buildings. Then from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m., some customers in Bucks Harbor and Machiasport will lose service. People who live along Route 92 from the Fort O’Brien Grammar School to the end of the road in Starboard will be affected. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’re told the work will be done on Wednesday instead.
