Bangor Woman Accused of Robbery Pleads Guilty to Charges 

A woman accused of robbing a bank in Bangor pleaded guilty to the charges on Wednesday.25-year-old Matisha Pitts has been held without bail since her arrest last July.Last week, Pitts entered a not guilty plea in a US District Court.On Wednesday, she pleaded guilty in a federal court.According to court documents, Pitts handed a note to a teller at a Bangor Savings Bank on State Street. The note said she was armed, wanted money and would start shooting if anyone tried to stop her.Police arrested her at an aparment and said she had about eight hundred dollars in her purse, but no weapons.If convicted, she could face up to 20 years in prison.She is being detained pending her sentence.
