Maine Thanks It’s Troops 

More than 170 troops from Maine who had served in Iraq were thanked for their sacrifices yesterday.The Army Reserve 619th Transportation Company actually got back about four months ago after a year in Iraq. Yesterday’s *Welcome Home Warrior* Ceremony at Edward Little High School in Auburn was to thank them and their families.Governor Baldacci was there to thank them.Soldiers say it’s a nice boost to morale.While in Iraq, the transportation troop drove racked up more than a half-million miles on nearly 200 convoys, delivering everything from repair parts and construction materials to medical supplies, water and ammunition all over the country.
