Fire at Outlaws Motorcycle Gang Clubhouse Called Accident 

Investigators say a fire that destroyed the Outlaws motorcycle gang clubhouse in Dayton appears to be an accident.The state fire marshal’s office says last night’s fire likely started near a propane water heater in a mobile home attached to the clubhouse.Crews were called to the clubhouse on Hollis Road around 9:30 and found heavy flames.Half of the building was wiped out.The fire comes at the same time a federal jury in Virginia is deliberating in theracketeering trial of four Outlaws members. They’re accused of being part of a crime ring in a number of states, including Maine, centered around a turf war with a rival motorcycle gang.
