St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bangor dressed up its emergency room to kick off the Halloween night. The hospital used the holiday to make their facility less spooky for kids who may visit in the future.Kids came in costume to enjoy food, treats and arts and crafts from noon to 2:00 p.m. Along with an ambulance tour, kids were allowed to bring their teddy bears with them for a doctor’s visit. Their special friends could get “checkups” with a medical professional. Any wounded bears were instantly healed.
