New Poll in Race for the Blaine House 

A new poll in the Maine Governor’s race shows Republican Paul LePage maintaining his lead, but another candidate has made a significant gain.The poll from the Pan Atlantic SMS Group shows LePage with 37%, up from 33% in the group’s poll last week. Independent Eliot Cutler has made the biggest move, jumping to 31% from 14% last week.Democrat Libby Mitchell has slipped to third place, falling to 22%, compared to 28% last week.Independents Shawn Moody and Kevin Scott each have 3% or less.The poll also shows a decrease in undecided voters, down to 7% from last week’s 20%.The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 5%.
