Beatles Vintage Photo Found in Waterville Thrift Shop

Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band is one of the best selling albums ever, but a couple from Chesterville has their hands on a copy you’ll be hard pressed to find anywhere else. Donna Wells and Jeff Kelley have what appears to be a vintage 1967 photograph of the Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band original album cover. Donna Wells’ mother found the framed photo at a thrift store in Waterville and paid five bucks for it. Wells has had it appraised twice. She says both appraisers say it’s worth three and four-thousand dollars. The photograph is going on ebay this weekend. Bidding starts at five-hundred bucks.
